According to the UIDAI website, the head of the family has to be introduced to other members of the family while enrolling in the details on the Aadhar application form.

The Head of the Family should carry out his or her original proof of identity and proof of address. At the enrolment center, the HoF should accompany the individual who desired to apply for Aadhar card.

If an individual wants to apply for Aadhar Card via the HoF, he or she should have submitted the proof of relationship with the HoF. However, the proof of the relationship document should have the name of the applicant and HoF.

Based on the terms and conditions of UIDAI, you can consider below-mentioned documents are valid as proof of relationship that included as follows:

  1. Pension Card
  2. CGHS or State Government or ESIC Medical Card or ECHS
  3. Passport
  4. PDS Card
  5. MNREGA Job Card
  6. Army Canteen Card
  7. Birth Certificate issued by Registrar of Birth, Municipal Corporation, and other notified local government bodies like Tehsil, Taluk, etc.
  8. Marriage certificate issued by the government
  9. Bhamashah Card
  10. Certificate of identity which should have photo issued by MP or MLA or MLC or Gazetted Officer on Letterhead or Municipal Councillor
  11. Provide the discharge card or slip issued by Government Hospitals for the birth of a child
  12. Any other central or state government-issued as family enrolment document
  13. Certificate of identity which should have photo and relationship with HoF issued by Village Panchayat head or mukhiya specifically for the people who are residing in rural areas.

Aadhaar Card: Through Introducer

Here, an introducer is a person who is authorized or notified by the registrar in order to introduce the residents who don’t have a valid proof of documents such as PoA or PoI.
