How To Apply For Aadhar Card Without Any Documents ?

Aadhar Card is an important document for Indian citizens that can be used as a unique identification document. The individual should have valid ID proof and address proof to apply for a new Aadhar card. If you want to apply for a new Aadhar card, you can still apply for a card without submitting any documents.

In this article, you will get to know two ways of getting an Aadhar card. Aadhar card is also one of the important financial documents to apply for PAN or filing Income Tax Return for receiving grants or subsidies from the govt. by giving a particular Aadhar number.

You can easily apply for an Aadhar card with valid proof of identity such as passport, PAN card, voter ID card, etc. and valid proof of address such as bank statements or passbook, passport, voter ID, driving license, etc. and date of birth certificate.

If you don’t have proper documents to apply for a new Aadhar card, you can still apply for a new Aadhar card without submission of documents like own POI or POA supporting documents. There are two important ways of applying a new Aadhar card based on the UIDAI’s Aadhar enrolment form that included through an introducer and through Head of Family.

Here, you can apply for a new Aadhar card although you don’t have valid supporting documents.

Aadhaar Card: Through the Head of Family

If an individual doesn’t have valid address proof or identity proof documents, he or she will get an Aadhar card by providing the family enrolment document on which the name of the individual should exist such as the ration card. 

According to the UIDAI website, the head of the family has to be introduced to other members of the family while enrolling in the details on the Aadhar application form.

The Head of the Family should carry out his or her original proof of identity and proof of address. At the enrolment center, the HoF should accompany the individual who desired to apply for Aadhar card.

If an individual wants to apply for Aadhar Card via the HoF, he or she should have submitted the proof of relationship with the HoF. However, the proof of the relationship document should have the name of the applicant and HoF.

Based on the terms and conditions of UIDAI, you can consider below-mentioned documents are valid as proof of relationship that included as follows:

1. Pension Card
2. CGHS or State Government or ESIC Medical Card or ECHS
3. Passport
4. PDS Card
5. MNREGA Job Card
6. Army Canteen Card
7. Birth Certificate issued by Registrar of Birth, Municipal Corporation, and other notified local government bodies like Tehsil, Taluk, etc.
8. Marriage certificate issued by the government
9. Bhamashah Card
10. Certificate of identity which should have photo issued by MP or MLA or MLC or Gazetted Officer on Letterhead or Municipal Councillor
11. Provide the discharge card or slip issued by Government Hospitals for the birth of a child
12. Any other central or state government-issued as family enrolment document
13. Certificate of identity which should have photo and relationship with HoF issued by Village Panchayat head or mukhiya specifically for the people who are residing in rural areas.

Aadhaar Card: Through Introducer

If an individual, who is looking out to apply for Aadhar card without having PoI or PoA documents, you can opt for another method to apply for Aadhar card i.e. via an introducer. Here, an introducer is a person who is authorized or notified by the registrar in order to introduce the residents who don’t have a valid proof of documents such as PoA or PoI.

The introducer must have a valid Aadhar number and needs to be present in person at the Aadhar enrolment centre for enrolling the Aadhar introducer based application form.

Here, an important note is that both introducer and HoF needs to be provided the identity and address proof documents for the individual whom they are representing for and make a signature on the document as required in the designated space.

Based on the update from UIDAI’s enrolment centre, the individuals can apply for a new Aadhar card without submitting PoI and PoA documents. It has been facilitated two new ways to apply for Aadhar card that included through the HoF and through an introducer. A key point to remember that both HoF and introducer should be submitted the PoI and PoA documents for representing the individual and sign on an enrolment document.
